Rogaška Slatina, a beautiful town connected with a centuries-old tradition of crystal production, will be the location of the first European and World Cornhole Championship according to the EChA. This city of mineral springs, beautiful hotels, and natural surroundings (great for walking, cycling, and spa tourism) will provide the perfect backdrop for this championship. Cornhole will not be the only attraction in Rogaška Slatina. During the competition itself, the International Sports Film Festival and a meeting of Gold Wing motorcyclists from all over Europe will take place in the city at the same time. Link: https://www.isff.si/en/home-new/
The European Cornhole Championship will be organized for players who will be able to compete in the categories of singles and doubles competition. The competition for the World Cornhole champion according to the WCA will take place in the category of singles only. The competition 1st I FEEL SLOVENIA Cornhole open Championship will take place in the category of singles only.
The competition will also include a European and global team competition, where each country will be represented by 4 members, who will play 3 matches against each other (2 x singles and 1 doubles match). It is recommended that each national association organize its own national competition in order to determine its national team who can then represent their country at the first European and World Championship.
NUMBER OF COMPETITORS: The competition is open to all Cornhole enthusiasts, male and female, seniors and youth! The main language throughout the tournament will be English. Between 300 and 350 competitors are expected to attend from around the world.
MODE OF COMPETITION:
The preliminary singles stage consists of a Round Robin competition with the top 64 players advancing to the double elimination bracket stage the following day. The preliminary doubles stage will also consists of a Round Robin competition with the top 32 teams advancing to the double eliminiation stage the following day. In the national team competition, the group stage will be followed by a quarterfinal, semifinal, and finals competition.
EQUIPMENT: Players are allowed to use their own bags or bags supplied by the EChA. Bags must comply with the following standard requirements measuring between 14.5 and 15 cm, weighing between 430 and 460 grams with a maximum thickness of 3.6 cm.

FEES: Singles category: 35 Euros each, doubles matches 60 Euros and team matches 60 Euros. National associations can also pay the registration fee for their respective teams.
